This recipe actually came to me by mistake. I grew up on smoothies. I come from a family that prioritizes health and fitness, so they were always part of our routine. But this particular smoothie wasn’t one I had ever tried before.
One day, I went to the store to buy sweetened Greek yogurt and accidentally grabbed the unsweetened version. Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us. When I got home and realized my mistake, I didn’t want to add anything artificial to sweeten it. Then I remembered I had some dates in the fridge and a couple of bananas on the counter. I threw them in, blended everything together, and the rest is history.

My Oops to Yum Healthy Banana Date Smoothie Recipe
- 1 finger of banana
- 5 dates (pitted)
- 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup of peanuts
- 1/3 ice cubes (optional)

- Blend on high speed till smooth.
